European School for Advanced Veterinary StudiesThe European School for Advanced Veterinary Studies, Luxembourg (ESAVS) was founded in 1991. It was created as a University-Enterprise-Training-Partnership (UETP) in the frame of a pilot project of the EU’s COMETT II programme, followed by additional projects under the EU’s Leonardo Da Vinci programme.
The umbrella organisation of ESAVS is the European Association for Veterinary Specialisation (EAVS), a non-profit organisation registered in Luxembourg (A.S.B.L., reg.Nr.vol.411 fol.100 case 4).
The ESAVS is an associate member of the Fedération Européenne des Animaux de Companie (FECAVA) and is supported by the Union of European Veterinary Practitioners (UEVP).
